We love sharing and discussing, but time is missing!
So we have prepared answers to the most frequent questions, please read them before writing us :)
No, it is not necessary.
Though, we still strongly recommend that you also participate in a Climate Fresk workshop to better understand the key subject of climate disruption (it is even a condition to become a facilitator), but this can be done before or after a Digital Collage. To register to a Climate Fresk public session in english, please click here.
The workshop lasts half a day, at least 3 hours and we recommend 3.5 hours.
The workshop is long but it remains very dense! The “Collage” pedagogy requires time to discover new information as you go, discuss with the other participants, make mistakes, correct them...
It’s hard to fit into an agenda, but participants don’t see the time passing by!
Although we do not recommend it, it is possible to remove a few cards and provide less information to reduce the time a little bit. But if you want a really short format, for instance less than 2.5 hours, the “Collage” pedagogy is not suitable to this timing, and we recommend that you instead follow or organize a conference-type format for example.
From around 15 years old.
There is a junior version of the workshop for people aged around 10 to 15.
The workshop exists in French and English. It will gradually be translated into other languages according to the needs and resources of the association.
The cards are made available to the facilitators who have been trained to run the workshop, in pdf format. They are also sold by the association to the facilitators.
If you are unable to register, it is probably because the session is full. On billetweb, the registration platform we mainly use, when all the places are taken it is written "full" at the bottom right of the booking box.
We advise you to come back to the website in a few days to find a session that suits you, we are adding new sessions of public workshops regularly in face-to-face and remote. We will not have more information on future dates by message, so please do not write to us about this.
No. Check your spam, and if you don't find anything there it's probably because the registration process was not completed.
You are supposed to receive a confirmation email from billetweb as soon as you register, and then you will receive an email from the facilitator with detailed information a few days before your session.
We will post new dates for the public workshops on this site as soon as they are scheduled. All sessions scheduled to date are posted here, we will not have more information to bring you by message, so please do not write to us about it.
No, sorry. We do not have an automated alert system. We advise you to come back to the site in a few days to find a session that suits you, we add new sessions of citizen workshops regularly in face-to-face and remote.
Public workshops are for individuals. Professional participants are only accepted on a trial basis, maximum 1 representative from the same company. If you wish to organise a workshop in your organisation, an intervention in the form of a service by a commercial entity independent of the association is possible, please visit the "Companies and public organisations" page of our website for more information.
After your workshop, you should have received an email from your facilitator, with the necessary information to register for a Digital Collage Facilitation training.
To understand in more detail the different steps of the "Digital collage facilitator's Course", please visit our page explaining this course (only in French so far).
Contact us! We are a lot of Digital Collage facilitators. We will help you identify a team of volunteer facilitators. Alternatively, you can also participate in a workshop and then be trained to run a Digital Collage yourself!
For universities and high school, Contact us directly.
For primary education, the Digital Collage is not suitable for participants under 10 years old.
You can also manage this on your own: take part in a workshop and then be trained to run a Digital Collage yourself.
This is only possible if you become an accredited professional facilitator of the association "La Fresque du Numérique". For more details and to know the necessary prerequisites, go to the page "Companies and public organisations" of our website.
[This process exists only in French si far]
a) You must fill in the online application form (available via the #pro-infos-générales channel of the association's internal slack for people trained in animation), in which you certify on your honour that you respect the prerequisites.
b) The association La Fresque du Numérique will then send you the sub-licence contract to sign,
c) After receiving the sub-licence contract signed by you, the association confirms by e-mail that you are now recognised as a professional animator approved by the association.

No, but congratulations for your action in the facilitation of the Climate Fresk!
The pedagogy of the workshop is similar but the subject and the animation are different, so it is important to train yourself to animate the Digital Collage if you want to animate it. To become a Digital Collage facilitator, you must also:
1. participate in a full Digital Collage workshop,
2. then register for a training course to become an animator (you will receive the link by email after participating in a workshop).
No. In order to guarantee quality animations, additional requirements are necessary and an agreement must be signed with the association before being able to animate in a professional setting. For more details, please visit the "Companies and public organisations" page of our website.
Yes, since December 2020 we are an association! We are more than 200 members, with a board of 11 members! Our goal is to ensure a wide diffusion of the Digital Collage in order to raise awareness of the environmental problems of the digital sector, and to promote any action to move towards a more sustainable digital. Beyond the digital sector, we want to contribute to a global awareness of environmental issues, and thus accelerate the transition to a more sustainable society.
Yes, with pleasure!
Once trained in animation you can join the internal slack and contribute in many ways to the project! We have several working groups, and many needs for volunteer animation for citizens, for education and for other associations.
